Day 162 -- home in Troy

Today was Bible Study morning, and because we are meeting in various people's homes, we went to one way out in the country beyond Troy.  It was a beautiful home and had some of the best space-saving ideas I've seen.  Not that they needed to save space--it is probably 6000 sq. ft. but they lived in 900 square feet with two children for 10 years to be able to build this home.  My hats go off to people who can postpone the "instant gratification" so much of our culture demands (and I can be guilty of that myself!)  I especially liked the hidden Murphy beds in the upstairs game room where her boys play and have guests over.  This house sits on over 200 acres with barns and tanks--really a beautiful setting!

Loved this mirror that was in the powder bath!

Utility room about the size of most kitchens.

Patio and outdoor kitchen

pool was beautiful

Murphy twin bed comes out horizontal instead of vertical and
pushing back into a case in the attic--brilliant!

There are 4 of those Murphy beds which serve as seating
up there around the pool table and other games.

Master bath--liked the sit down makeup area
and storage between the two vanities
Living area
