Day 160 -- In Dog Years---

Today was Holly's 7th birthday.  She was born on 10-10-10 so you would think she would be a perfect dog but as those who know her will attest, she is really not all that perfect!  And for her birthday this year, she got flea spray.  She has never had flees and now suddenly, I can't seem to keep the critters off of her.  Holly didn't seem to care one way or another what she got for her birthday or whether she had a birthday as long as she got some scraps from the kitchen.  So I would say in her 49 dog years, she got what she wanted!  We just don't make a big deal about dog birthdays around here but I do know that you can actually buy birthday cakes and cupcakes for dogs in the pet stores--I ain't doing it!
