Day 161 -- Doctor Visit

Today Bill had an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon.  This is not new--I have been with him before to see these people.  But today the news was new because, as you would expect a surgeon to say, he was told he needed to have his hip replaced.  Bill had already told me he wasn't going to have any more surgeries, but it looks like he was wrong.  There are some complicating heart factors that have to be discussed between the surgeon and his cardiologist before this can become finalized, but we could be looking at surgery in December--just to complicate everything a little more!  Something has to happen though because his life is currently miserable and is rubbing off on me!
