Today at my training session, we worked on strength training but also a good deal of cardio. My first for the day was doing what is called a "farmer's lift" carrying weight down by your side and walking a distance with it. I carried 50 pounds in each hand and walked the length and back of her building. I was pretty proud of myself on my hundred pound walk!
Then at singing rehearsal tonight, we were thrown 3 new anthems that strictly sight-reading for everyone so I felt more a part of the group as it wasn't just new to me! We also sang one of the Christmas anthems without the music twice through, and I hung with them pretty well so I'm feeling like this is doable!
