Beautiful fall day today with no rain--only sunshine so we headed out to Colonial Williamsburg for another day of exploring. We went to many of the tradesmen and artisans shops that we had not seen on the previous day's visit and learned so much. We also took in a play on the evils of slavery. We had hoped to enjoy the Patrick Henry production as well but it ended up a little too much of a political rant for a young boy's attention. I was amazed that the only thing I had actually seen from today's visit was the Armory--lots of firsts for both Weston and me.
Weaver's shop
A different loom at work
Takes two to get the threads on to the loom to begin the process of weaving
Inside the courthouse

Inside the Armory which really impressed Weston!
The Armory guard and Weston
An actual native American with his furs, knives, and tools,. Weston thought his pants were a little skimpy!
Firing of the cannon
Shield's Tavern where we d lunch
Tools in blacksmith shop--thought the tool holder made of trunk of tree was cool.
