Day 95 -- Family from afar

Today we eagerly awaited the arrival of another Wainscott family member driving in to Texas from Illinois with her husband--Carol and Dave.  It was so exciting to get to see them after a number of years.  Another observation about family I have had over this long weekend is that no matter how far away they may be, and how little we talk or see each other, we take right up where we left off and ties continue to bind us as one.  Carol brought old pictures which we looked at and those helped jog dad's memory of times gone by.  We went over to Danny's for dinner of hamburgers and fixings, and unfortunately Dad had a little turn for the worse and had to be taken home before dinner.  We had a sweet time visiting and laughing and telling all kinds of stories from the past.  Love the time spent there.
