On Sunday we set out to find covered bridges in the state of Vermont. But on the way we found 2 in New Hampshire at Plymouth NH and another called Orford Bridge in New Hampshire. In Vermont we visited 7 bridges which we all in beautiful settings. There are many more bridges in Vermont than New Hampshire but we went to ones that were relatively close together. If you are ever in a state that you suspect might have covered bridges and you want to see them, search for covered bridges and a site will come up on the internet that has maps of the states and markings for the covered bridges. It is an interactive map so you can click on one of the spots marked and get a great map that will guide you there. I highly recommend it as you see some of the most beautiful country and small towns and villages in tracking these bridges down. The ones that have a water picture right after them, is what the water looked like that was under the bridge.
I love covered bridges!
