Today I took off to have a girls' weekend with Mandi and Ruth. Jeff and the boys are at the ranch so we decided we would spend a little girl time while they were gone. Ruth was taking double riding lessons on Friday-Sunday so she was busy during the morning, but in the afternoon we played! Today we braved Black Friday to go to one store for a list of things I was looking for--mostly a hair dryer since mine died this morning before I left, and also some ideas for gifts for the boys for Christmas. Got great advice from Mandi and found what I wanted in Kohl's so we didn't have to worry about fighting crowds anywhere else. It was no really crowded in Kohl's and the sales were good so it was a productive trip. After the shopping, we went to dinner at a wonderful place called The Table and indulged ourselves on some very tasty dishes that we all shared. It was a wonderful evening.
