Day 199 -- Hum drum day

Today was such a windy day that it was hard to make myself get out of the house.  So I practice my music for tomorrow's concert, did the usual laundry chores, went to Sam's with Bill, and watched the Aggie game until after my bedtime!  But it was a really good game--just not on the scoreboard at the end!  Nothing really a first today except what I am learning in a book I am reading about Scientology written by the niece of the high leader of that "church".  It is about how she finally escaped the clutching of the "church" and I am finding it quite interesting.  I've always been curious about it as in some cities we have visited, we have walked by "Scientology reading rooms" and I wondered what those were about.  This is L. Ron Hubbard's brainchild to control people while emptying their pockets.  Of course, he is long dead but his scam church is still alive and well, and what is really interesting is how many Hollywood celebrities are members of it--including Tom Cruise for one.
