Tonight, we had a 3 and a half hour rehearsal for Master Singers. I've never had a rehearsal that long for anything that I can think of, and what I found is that the first half was very productive and to me the second half wasn't because we were getting tired. Pretty soon, it becomes hard to process everything from notes, to words, to changes, etc. I don't think I was alone in that thought process as we kept getting scolded more as the night went on for our mistakes!
We have a concert Nov. 19 at a church which is mostly just regular music with a few of our Christmas songs mixed in as teasers. The first Christmas one is Dec. 5 then Dec. 10 and 11th. So time is marching by quickly and we do have a lot left to do. Having seen this group in concert many times before, I know they always manage to get it done so that no one in the audience at least knows there were any hiccups. So I'm sure that is what will happen this year as well.,
