Day 150 -- New word and trip to Jodi's with Granny

Today I was reading a short essay about finding joy in airports, written by a pilot, and ran across a word I had never seen or heard of--so I shall share it with my small readership!  It is actually applicable to one of the family's in said readership:

conurbation      pronounced "conner bay shun"

Noun:  an extended urban area, typically consisting of several towns merging with the suburbs of one or more cities i.e. DFW

Granny has been doing so great while staying here in Belton with us.  I think she is excited about getting to see Jodi's house today.  That feeling of knowing where all your chicks are just gives us moms a settled place in our hearts so I know just how she feels.  We will be spending the night at Jodi's and coming home on Sunday.  I'm so excited I can be the one to get her out of her house and have a few small adventures with her and see her reactions.
