Day 146 -- Shopping with Mom

I don't know how long it has been since I've been able to go shopping with Mom.  But today, she was game to try it.  So we went on the pursuit of a new watch for her.  We decided to try Kohl's because they also had some jeans she was interested in.  Sure enough, we found a watch she liked and she bought a pair of jeans and a blouse to go with them.  I consider this a new first simply because it has been so very long since she was up for any kind of shopping, but she did very well and I was so happy she was willing to give it a try!  

I also stopped by the assisted living home to give the paperwork from the doctor to them and was bombarded about him moving in tomorrow (Wed.).  I told them that just wouldn't work, and they said that Bill told them that is when he would be moving him.  I informed them that Bill will be on an airplane to Utah tomorrow and will have nothing to do with the move, so I have to do it according to my schedule--which will be Friday.  So then I got another call later in the day about the same situation--suddenly since they have our deposit, they are getting a little pushy for me.  But I'm sticking to my guns--Friday unless it is raining cats and dogs, and then it will probably be Monday!
