Today my new Bible study began with a new group of ladies I hope to soon be able to call my friends. Our church is so large that while we may all attend, we don't attend the same services, sit on the same side of the church, etc. so sometimes it can be hard to meet new people within the church. There were 20 women at this first meeting, and only 3 of us were new to the group. So we introduced ourselves, and were welcomed in with open arms. After the introductory lessons, many of us went out to eat. We sat at tables of 4-5 so that we could get to know each other better. We will be doing this each week so that hopefully, I will have the names squared away before long. Thank goodness we were all wearing name tags! Next Thursday it will be at my house. I thought I would jump in and get it on a week my housekeepers came! I'm glad to be in this study about seeing Jesus in the book of Genesis.
