Our house is now 14 years old. I remember when we were building it that I asked God to help me find ways that I could use it for Him because it was only because of blessings he had given us that we were able to build such a big fine house. I thought in my mind that I would be hosting Bible studies, etc. through the years, but it turned out that all the Bible studies I participated in had localized meeting places such as churches so no homes were ever needed. Bill has used the house many times for business meetings etc., and I have had social events here, but it seemed there never was an opportunity to use it to honor God. This year I got into a new Bible study group through our church and by invitation from my friend Jill who is the leader. While the group is under the umbrella of TBC, they meet in members homes rather than at the church like most of the other women's studies. So on our second week of our new study, I volunteered our home for the women to come to for our Thursday morning meeting. I fel,t like I had finally honored a commitment I made 14 years ago, and I'm so excited that everyone came and we had such a great discussion and time of fellowship.
