After my Bible study this morning, I went with Avis to Comanche to spend the night while she got a few things done and then we will return tomorrow. When she bought the house in Comanche, she also inherited a flock of guineas and a turkey. When we pulled up in the driveway, we could see that the newly mulched flowerbeds she hired someone to do while she was gone, now had all the mulch up on the porch and sidewalks. The culprit is her turkey--he likes to make himself beds in the flower beds evidently and so just moves the mulch out of his way. We swept it up and got it looking pretty good, and were in the house sitting in the office when I looked up and the silly bird was staring at me through the window--with what I would call a gleam in his eye! He also fusses at you when you talk to him or try to run him out of the beds--I suggested turkey for Easter dinner--but I don't think she's going for it.
