Day 239 -- CASA brunch

Today the CASA organization that I volunteer for had a wonderful end-of-year appreciation brunch for the volunteers.  There were lots of yummy things, but not many volunteers showed up unfortunately.  I'm glad I went because I know the staff went to a lot of trouble to honor the volunteers.  I announced I was ready for a second case so I expect I will get one early in the year.  I am still glad that I decided to take on this volunteer position--it is rewarding and so many children need the help.
