Day 217 -- The Lost Civilization of Z
I seldom watch movies start to finish on TV--I can't manage to put aside other things needing done in the house, etc. I guess I have ADD because I can't stay focused on things on TV--and can't stay focused on a book unless I'm in a quiet place--which isn't a hospital I can tell you! Bill has done well on this day after surgery, so I came home early to rest up myself after seeing they weren't going to send him home today. I was restless so turned on ROKU and watched a movie about a lost civilization in Bolivia on the Amazon that the English believed to exist. This was based on a true story focused on the man the English army sent to Bolivia to look for it. It turned in to his life's work--and demise. A very interesting story--especially in learning at the end that the civilization was never really discovered until the 21st century. Nice historical movie with plenty of "native" excitement.
